This colorful Salvadorian banknote represents the 1st denomination of the Colón (Series 1982-88). The observe features a beautifully illustration of the Cerrón Grande Hydroelectric Dam, on Lempa River. The reverse illustration depicts Italian explorer Christopher Columbus (1451-1506).
