The Inter-War is the term used to describe the period between WWI and WW2. It was marked by the post-WWI reconstruction, the Gilded Age, and the Great Depression. The second half of the Inter-War saw the rise of National Socialism in Germany and militarism in Japan. The Inter-War ended with the 1939 Invasion of Poland.
