This small Belarusian banknote represents the 1st denomination of the First Ruble (Series 1998). The observe features the National Academy of Sciences, in Minsk. The reverse features the notes "1000" ruble value on a guilloche background. Notably the Series 1992-93 version of this banknote previously featured Pahonia, the Belarussian Coat of Arms from 1992-1995. This banknote was demonetized, on 31 December 2003.
