This autographed Brazilian banknote represents the 1st denomination of the First Cruzeiro (Series 1944, 1st Print "Valor Recebido"). The observe features a portrait of Admiral Joaquim Marques Lisboa (1807-1897), patron of the Imperial Brazilian Navy. The reverse depicts the Escola Naval (Naval School), in Rio de Janeiro.
