This Ugandan banknote represents the 1st denomination of the New Shilling (Series 1987). The observe features the Ugandan Coat of Arms. The reverse depicts a watering hole with various animals native to Uganda. Notably all pre-2010 New Shilling notes have been demonetized, replaced by the current series.
