This Hong Kong banknote represents the 1st denomination of the Hong Kong Dollar (Series 1983-2002, Standard Charter Bank). The observe features an illustration of a mythical dragon carp. The reverse depicts a Bauhinia flower and the Standard Charter building. Notably the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region has 4 separate banknote issuers.
