This colorful Madagascan banknote represent the 1st denomination, of the Malagasy Franc (Series 1974). The observe features a Malagasy man besides a pair of Madagascar Hibiscus. The reverse depicts women selling fruit, in a colorful marketplace. Toward the left giraffe and crane figures, woven from raffia palm fiber.
